Zappfresh posts operational breakeven

Zappfresh, an online fresh meat delivery start-up, has posted operational breakeven in the eight months’ since its inception in July 2015. The company now has developed 40 Stock Keeping Unit (SKUs) and delivers more than 12,000 orders a month.

Zappfresh, founded by Shruti Gochhwal and Deepanshu Manchanda in 2015, delivers fresh meat in Gurgaon and Delhi.

The company, which was bootstrapped with Rs 20 lakh and 12 SKUs, now aims to increase it about 100 SKUs by 2016-end, the company said in a statement.

ColdEX MD Gaurav Jain, Carpediem Capital Advisors Founder Abhishek Sherman and former Star Bucks director (supply chain) Mohit Sharma among others have invested in the company.
