Cotton rules flat on limited buying

Cotton prices remained unchanged as demand from domestic mills was limited. However, the market expects fresh export demand. Kapas or raw cotton too was flat on slack demand from ginners. Gujarat Sankar-6 cotton ruled at ₹33,100-200 for a candy of 356 kg. About 60,000-65,000 bales (of 170 kg) arrived in Gujarat and 2.20 lakh bales arrived in India. Kapas went for ₹830-865 per maund of 20 kg at Rajkot. Gin delivery kapas was ₹850-865. Cottonseed stood at ₹360-370. About 400-500 truck from Maharashtra arrived to Gujarat and price was remained unchanged at ₹800-860.
