Domestic rubber prices turned better on Saturday. In the spot market, prices firmed up mainly on covering purchases.
In futures, the August series firmed up to Rs 217.60 (215.64), September to Rs 217.60 (215.55), October to Rs 217.79 (215.60), November to Rs 217.75 (215.85) and December to Rs 219.25 (217.89) a kg for RSS 4 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
Spot rates were (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 216 (214); RSS-5: 213 (211); ungraded: 210 (208); ISNR 20: 212 (211) and latex 60 per cent: 138 (137).
