Bearish tone in edible oils

Edible oils witnessed a decline on back of less-than-expected demand. Groundnut, cotton and palmolein lost ₹5 per 10 kg each, while soya oil dropped by ₹2. Weak Saurashtra market pushed down indigenous oils and steady overseas market weighed on imported oils. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin declined by ₹30 to ₹1,470 and loose (10 kg) decreased by ₹15 to ₹925.
