Cooking oils track futures, rise

Edible oils market extended gains tracking a rebound in futures amid physical demand support. On the BCE, groundnut and cotton refined oil gained further by ₹15 and ₹2 per 10 kg each. Imported palm oil and soya oil were up ₹2 and ₹1 each. Liberty quoted palmolein at ₹558, super palmolein ₹580 and soyabean refined oil ₹635. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹561, soyabean refined oil ₹632. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was up ₹40 to ₹2,050 and loose (10 kg) increased by ₹25 to ₹1,325. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 1,320 (1,305), soya ref. 632 (631), sunflower exp. ref. 655 (655), rapeseed ref. 900 (900), cottonseed ref. 687 (685) and palmolein 553 (551).
