Downtrend in chana, continuing for the past few days on weak buying support from the millers and the increased supply of the government stock, ended today with demand outstripping availability. On Tuesday, chana (kanta) gained ₹200 at ₹4,450 a quintal, while chana (desi) rose to ₹4,350 and chana (vishal) at ₹4,350.
