Fall in turmeric arrivals

There was a fall in turmeric arrivals in Erode on Wednesday. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Salesyard, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,511-7,694 a quintal and root variety at ₹5,299-6,479. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,191-7,341 and root variety at ₹5,810-6,711. Of the arrival of 986 bags of turmeric, 542 bags were sold.
