Mixed trend in edible oils

Edible oils prices ruled mixed for the second consecutive day tracking steady futures amid need-based demand. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, groundnut, sunflower and rapeseed oil ruled steady. Imported soya oil rose by ₹2, while palmolein lost ₹2 for 10 kg each. Cotton oil gained ₹1. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹487 JNPT and ₹490 Ghatkopar-Shapur, super palmolein ₹525, soyabean refined oil ₹585. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹482, soyabean refined oil ₹573, sunflower refined oil ₹633-635. Allana traded palmolein for ₹485 JNPT, super palmolein ₹512, soyabean refined oil ₹568 and sunflower oil ₹635. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin declined to ₹1,575 (1,585) and loose (10 kg) at ₹1,010 (1,020).

The Bombay Commodity Exchange spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 980 (980), soya ref. oil 580 (578), sunflower exp. ref. 585 (585), sunflower ref. 633 (633), rapeseed ref. oil 725(725), rapeseed exp. ref. 695 (695), cottonseed ref. oil 590(589) and palmolein 486 (488).
