Mixed trend in edible oils

Edible oils market showed a mixed trend. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, groundnut and cotton oil rose by ₹5 and ₹3 for 10 kg each on forecast of deficient rain this year. In Saurashtra, groundnut oil went up by ₹30. Rapeseed oil and palmolein declined by ₹5 and ₹3 each. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹523 JNPT, super palmolein ₹551 and soyabean refined oil ₹615. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹522, soyabean refined oil ₹610, sunflower refined oil ₹701. Allana traded palmolein for ₹525, super palmolein ₹555, soyabean refined oil ₹615 and sunflower oil ₹705. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin increased to ₹1,470 (1,440) and loose (10 kg) up by ₹20 at ₹950.

BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 930 (925), soya ref. 610 (610), sunflower exp. ref. 650 (650), sunflower ref. 700 (700), rapeseed ref. oil 885 (890), rapeseed exp. ref. 855 (860), cottonseed ref. oil 615 (613) and palmolein 512 (515).
