Prices of moong dal and sugar decreased, while all prices of all other commodities remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
The price of moong dal fell by Rs 100 to Rs 6,200 per quintal from Rs 6,300 previously.
Similarly, sugar went down marginally by Rs 20 to Rs 2,880 per quintal from the previous rate of Rs 2,900.
Prices of all other major commodities — tur dal, urad dal, gram dal, wheat, maida and sooji — remained the same.
The following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities today (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): tur dal Rs 5,700, urad dal Rs 6,200, moong dal Rs 6,200, gram dal Rs 3,600, sugar Rs 2,880, wheat Rs 1,750, maida (90 kg) Rs 1,750 and sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,850.
