Selling pressure dissolves sugar

Sugar market ruled bearish on back of selling pressure from producers amid less- than-expected demand at mill and market level. At the Vashi market, prices dropped by ₹10-15 a quintal. Naka rates were steady. Arrivals were steady at 58-60 truck loads and local dispatches were at the same level. The On Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,222-3,372 and M-grade ₹3,340-3,615. Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,230-3,380 and M-grade ₹3,270-3,480.
