Slack demand pulls down pulses

Slack demand and report of robust crop output by the Madhya Pradesh government dragged down most pulse seeds, with masur (bold) declining to ₹4,000 a quintal, while masur (MP) ruled at ₹3,300. Masur dal (medium) was quoted at ₹4,00-₹4,900 a quintal, while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,000-₹5,100. Downtrend also continued in moong, urad, tur and chana.
