Spot rubber declines further

Spot rubber fell further as RSS-4 weakened to ₹123 (123.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade was quoted unchanged at ₹123.50 and ₹120.50 respectively by the Rubber Board and dealers.

February contracts slid to ₹125.40 (125.42), March to ₹127.20 (127.32), April to ₹129.99 (130.17) and May to ₹131 (131.09) on the NMCE. RSS-3 (spot) declined to ₹107.81 (108.86) at Bangkok. January futures dropped to ₹113.84 (114.35) on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 123 (123.50); RSS-5: 118 (118); ISNR 20: 110 (111) and Latex (60% drc): 87 (87).
