Spot rubber continued to remain unchanged on Thursday. RSS 4 closed steady at ₹118 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade was flat at ₹115, as quoted by the dealers.
May futures improved to ₹119.35 (₹118.77) and June to ₹121.50 (₹120.99) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) firmed up marginally to ₹104.96 (₹104.72) at Bangkok. April futures closed at ¥198.6 (₹103.93) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
Spot rubber rates (₹/ kg) were: RSS-4: 118 (118); RSS-5: 112 (112); Ungraded: 101(101); ISNR 20: 103.50 (103.50) and Latex (60% DRC): 83 (83).
