Spot rubber stays unchanged

Physical rubber prices were unchanged on Thursday. RSS 4 was quoted steady at ₹143 a kg by traders and the Rubber Board. The grade finished flat at ₹140, according to dealers. July futures declined to ₹144.50 (145.13), August to ₹139.99 (141.84) and September to ₹133.90 (136.83) a kg on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹119.75 (117.88) a kg at Bangkok. July futures improved to ¥ 169 (₹110.96) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 143 (143); RSS-5: 139 (139); Ungraded: 120 (120); ISNR 20: 120 (120) and Latex (60% drc): 100 (100).
