Sugar price rules steady

The sugar market ruled steady on Tuesday with little price movement, on routine demand, supply and volume. Arrivals at Vashi totalled 60 truck loads and local dispatches were at same level. On Monday evening, 22 mills sold about 45,000 bags at ₹3,050-3,250 for S-grade and ₹3,170-3,350 for M-grade. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association's spot rates were: (in ₹) S-grade 3,186-3,335 (and M-grade 3,290-3,565. Naka delivery rates were: S-grade 3,090-3,300 and M-grade 3,260-3,400.
