Sugar steadies in routine trade

Sugar market ruled steady on routine demand and supply. Prices at naka remained unchanged. Producers sold the commodity at previous day level on eased demand support. Freight rates were stable. Arrivals and local dispatches were at 56-57 truck loads. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,542-3,762 (3,542-3,762) and M-grade was ₹3,650-3,896 (3,650-3,900). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,520-3,590 (3,520-3,590) and M-grade ₹3,610-3,690 (3,610-3,690).
