Uptrend continues in pepper

Uptrend continued in spot pepper on tight availability of heavy pepper. Domestic demand started picking up. On the terminal market, 32 tonnes were traded . Spot prices moved up by ₹200 a quintal to ₹62,600 (ungarbled) and ₹65,600 (garbled) a quintal. July, August and September contracts on the IPSTA remained unchanged. Export prices were up at $10,675 a tonne c&f for Europe and $10,925 for the US.
