Weak availability and stoppage of NAFED selling chana have lifted prices by ₹300 in the past one week with chana (kanta) rising to ₹4,350-4,400 a quintal, while chana (vishal) ruled at ₹4,1200-4,400 and chana (desi) at ₹4,300. Chana dal (average) quoted at ₹5,300-5,400, while chana dal (medium) ruled at ₹5,500-5,600, and chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,700- 5,800.
