The rupee ended flat at 61.70 against the dollar on a thin trading day at the currency markets.
The Indian currency moved in the 61.68 to 61.91 range.
The interbank call money rates ended at 7.85 per cent from previous close of 7.90 per cent.
The yield on the benchmark government security (8.40 per cent G-Sec, maturing in 2024) ended flat at 7.72 per cent from Monday’s close. The price on the security remained constant at Rs 104.50.
