Gitanjali installs gold coin vending machine at Ganesh pandal

Gitanjali Gems has installed a gold jewellery vending machine at Mumbai’s famous Ganesh mandal – Lalbaug Cha Raja. Lakhs of people throng to Lalbaugh every year during Ganesh festival to seek the blessings of Lalbaugh Cha Raja.

Mehul Choksi, Chairman and Managing Director, Gitanjali Group, said the vending machine will dispense gold and silver coins with Lalbaug Cha Raja embossed on it.

With this, people can take home a symbol of the blessings and good luck from the greatest, Navsacha Ganpati, Lalbaug Cha Raja, the fulfiller of all wishes, he said.

The coins can be bought using cash, credit or debit cards at the then prevailing gold rate.

The any-time gold and jewellery vending machine installed at the pandal will be available for use on all ten days of Ganeshotsav.

Gitanjali recently installed its second jewellery vending machine at Siddhivinayak temple in Dadar following good response from devotees.
