Depreciating rupee pushes up gold prices

The yellow metal may trade lower between Rs 30,100 and 30,300 per 10 gram on Tuesday.

Gold prices rose at the commodity futures market as rupee depreciated against dollar. Besides, prices also moved up in the international markets.

The yellow metal for August delivery at the Multi Commodity Exchange opened higher at Rs 30,343 against yesterday’s close of Rs 30,200.

US spot gold was at $1,630 a troy ounce at 11.30 am.
