Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company has appointed Aashish P. Somaiyaa as CEO.
Prior to this, he was Senior Vice-President & Head - Retail Business, ICICI Prudential AMC, responsible for sales, distribution and product development of Mutual Fund, PMS and Real Estate offerings through retail distribution, banking and private wealth channels in India and UAE.
An engineer with masters in management, Somaiyaa has more than 13 years experience in the MF industry.
The fund house had an average AUM of Rs 588.36 crore during the October –December 2012 quarter.
