Asian markets remain firm

Asian shares were ruling firm on Friday.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 39.47 points or 0.4 per cent to 9,794.57. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 28.8 points or 0.12 per cent at 23,556.30. Singapore’s Straits Times was up 7.67 points or 0.25 per cent at 3,113.52. South Korea’s Kospi was up 4.63 points or 0.22 per cent at 2,111.33.

Australia’s S&P/Asx 200 climbed 36.9 points or 0.76 per cent to 4,874.80. China’s Shanghai Composite up was 7.17 points or 0.24 per cent at 2,935.28. Taiwan’s Taiex was down 5.75 points or 0.07 per cent at 8,677.55.
