Cipla sprints up over 4% on BSE

Pharma company Cipla made rapid strides in the latter half of the session to record gains of over 4 per cent in afternoon trade. At 2.40 pm the stock was quoting at ₹468.55, up 4.59 per cent on its previous close at ₹448.

Axis Bank also made good ground to trade at ₹394.25. This represented a 4.38 per cent gain on its previous close at ₹377.70.

ONGC extended its morning gains to 3.92 per cent at ₹426 as against ₹409.95 at close on Friday.

Tata Motors inched up further. It was trading at ₹501.25. This represented a 3.44 per cent gain on last week’s close at ₹484.60.

Hindalco Industries spiked up 3.14 at ₹184.10. The stock had ended the previous week at ₹178.50.
