Jindal Steel vaults up nearly 3% on NSE

Jindal Steel extended its morning gains to lead the pack on the NSE ahead of the close on Monday. At 2.30 pm it was up 2.92 per cent at ₹160.45. The stock had closed Friday’s session at ₹155.90.

IndusInd Bank rode up 2.36 per cent to quote at ₹637.95. The share had ended the overnight session at ₹623.25. It announced today that it had recorded a 30 per cent jump in net profit of Rs 430 cr in the second quarter ended September 30.

Tata Power was up 2.17 per cent at ₹84.60. The stock had closed Friday's session at ₹82.80.

Punjab National Bank traded up 2.12 per cent at ₹919 as against ₹899.90 at close last week.

Infosys made further ground to hold gains of 2.11 per cent at ₹3,970.70 as against its previous close at ₹3,888.65.
