Sesa Sterlite spikes up over 2% on BSE

Sesa Sterlite spiked into the lead in late trading on the BSE on Tuesday. At 2.20 pm the metal stock held gains of 2.20 per cent to quote at ₹276.40 as against ₹270.45 at close on Monday.

Sun Pharma Industries made further ground to hold gains of 1.77 per cent at ₹849. The stock had ended yesterday’s session at ₹834.20.

Maruti Suzuki extended its morning gains to 1.66 per cent at ₹3,058.55 as against ₹3,008.60 at close yesterday.

HDFC was firm but off its early highs at ₹1,047.10. This represented a gain of 1.64 per cent on its previous close at ₹1,030.25.

Cipla spurted 1.06 per cent to quote at ₹622.45 as against ₹615.90 at close on Monday.
