Tata Power charges up 2.4% on BSE

Tata Power Company charged up the bourses to emerge the top gainer on the BSE in late trading on Monday. At 2.20 pm the scrip was up 2.42 per cent at ₹84.70. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹82.70.

IT scrips Infosys extended its morning surge to hold gains of 2.23 per cent at ₹3,975.85 as against ₹3,888.95 at close last week.

Axis Bank spurted 2.04 per cent at ₹387. The scrip was quoting at ₹379.25 at close on Friday.

Tata Steel also spiked up 1.90 per cent to quote at ₹456.70. The share had ended Friday’s session at ₹448.20.

Hero MotoCorp rode up to trade at ₹2,890.50. This represented a gain of 1.70 per cent on its previous close at ₹2,842.20.
