Future Consumer: will new forays help?

The board of directors of Future Consumer Enterprise has approved entering into a joint venture arrangement with LT Foods, a leading company in the business of rice, for possible opportunities to manufacture, market and distribution of rice and other products. Through this joint venture, it aims to build the company as an Indian food and FMCG major for the next generation. It had recently launched brands across segments to achieve ₹20,000-crore revenue.
