The board of Hathway Cable & Datacom is meeting on Friday to consider fund-raising proposals through preferential issue of equity shares or any other permitted instruments. The board will also approve a draft notice of postal ballot to be issued to its shareholders on the fund-raising and increasing the limit for creation of charge on the assets of the company by mortgage/ hypothecation/ charge of movable and/or immovable properties from ₹2,000 crore to ₹2,700 crore.
