HDFC traded firm to stay ahead of the pack on the BSE at the close on Wednesday. It was trading at Rs 1,341 as against Rs 1,309.25 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 2.43 per cent.
Infosys maintained its firm undertone through the day, but edged down by the close to quote at Rs 2,318.05. This was a gain of 1.75 per cent on the overnight close at Rs 2,278.15.
Wipro made rapid strides in late session to quote at Rs 663.70. This was a gain of 1.71 per cent on its previous close at Rs 652.55.
Bharti Airtel rang in gains of 1.36 per cent to trade at Rs 347.80. The share closed Tuesday’s session at Rs 343.15.
ITC also moved up to quote at Rs 399.55. This represented a gain of 0.93 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 395.85 at close yesterday.
