The board of Hindustan Construction Company on Wednesday approved a ₹500-crore rights issue. For the purpose of giving effect to the issue, the board has constituted a special committee – the rights issue committee, which has been authorised to finalise the terms and conditions, including entitlement ratio, price, record date, timing and all other related matters. Shares of HCC closed at ₹14.45, down 1.37 per cent, on the BSE.
