Lupin was firm but off its morning highs near the close on the NSE on Thursday. At 3.04 pm the share was trading at Rs 1,889.8. This represented a gain of 5.26 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 1,795.40.
ITC advanced further to hold gains of 4.07 per cent at Rs 329.8 against Rs 316.90 at close yesterday.
BPCL edged down to keep gains of 1.68 per cent at Rs 902. The share had closed Wednesday’s session at Rs 887.10.
Dr Reddy’s Labs was trading at Rs 4,289.25 against Rs 4,231.30 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 1.37 per cent.
NTPC advanced 0.79 per cent at Rs 127 against Rs 126 at close yesterday.
