Shares of Jain Irrigation Systems today gained 2.6 per cent as Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said India will allocate Rs 5,300 crore ($859.71 million) for micro-irrigation as he unveiled the 2015/16 budget.
He also said that India will allocate Rs 25,000 crore for rural infrastructure and aims for Rs 8.5 lakh crore in farm credit for 2015/16.
