Metal shares lead the pack on NSE, Jindal Steel up 1.8%

Metal stocks were on the uptrend in the Thursday morning session on the NSE. At 10.40 am Jindal Steel was up 1.80 per cent at Rs 186.20. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 182.90.

Sesa Sterlite gained 1.78 per cent to quote at Rs 214.50. It had finished the previous session at Rs 210.75.

Lupin perked up 1.54 per cent at Rs 1,690 as against Rs 1,664.30 at close yesterday.

HDFC built up gains of 1.34 per cent to trade at Rs 1,358.50 as against Rs 1,340.55 at close on Wednesday.

Bharti Airtel maintained its recent firm trend to trade at Rs 350.85 as against Rs 348.60 at close yesterday.
