Mindtree sees worst session in near 9 months after top bosses quit

Shares of IT services firm Mindtree Ltd were down as much as 6.8 per cent, marking their biggest intraday per cent loss since October 2018.

The company’s top management on Friday, including CEO Rostow Ravanan, have submitted their resignations to the board, days after conglomerate Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) took a controlling stake.

At 12 noon, the

stocks of Mindtree were trading 10.88 per cent lower at ₹770.

More than 670,142 shares traded vs. 30-day moving average of 629,471 shares.

The country's broader index NIFTY was down 1.05 per cent, with Wipro Ltd falling 1.1 per cent. Mindtree shares up 2.8 per cent this year, as of last close.
