Narayana Hrudayalaya board gives nod to merge arm

The board of Narayana Hrudayalaya has approved the merger of its wholly-owned subsidiary NewRise Healthcare Pvt Ltd with itself. The company hopes the merger will lead to wider presence in the health segment, and will result in better cost utilisation through increased efficiency and competitiveness. Shares of Narayana Hrudayalaya gained 1.9 per cent at ₹312.30 on the BSE.
