The Nifty metal and energy sectoral indices jumped 2.85 per cent and 2.9 per cent respectively, outshining bellwether indices on Monday. Jindal Steel & Power closed 5.4 per cent up at ₹171.5, and Jindal Stainless (Hisar) closed up 4.67 per cent at ₹95.3, accompanied by good volumes boosting the metal index. Nalco climbed 4.2 per cent and Coal India rose 3.6 per cent. HPCL and BPCL surged over 5 per cent each enhancing the Nifty energy sector gains. Traders can keep an eye on these two sectors.
