Bharti Airtel was on a firm footing in the morning session on Friday. At 11.20 am it was the top gainer on the NSE as well, trading at Rs 349.85 as against Rs 343.30 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 1.91 per cent.
NMDC gained 1.67 per cent at Rs 140 as against Rs 137.70 at close on Thursday.
Sun Pharma Industries rose 1.22 per cent to quote at Rs 845. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 834.80.
Lupin perked up 1.11 per cent at Rs 1,453 as against Rs 1,437.05 at close yesterday.
Hero MotoCorp rode up 1.09 per cent. The share was trading at Rs 3,148.55 as against Rs 3,114.60 at close on Thursday.
