NSE/BSE top gainers, losers intraday March 10, 2025: Power Grid, HUL, Infosys, JSW Steel lead gains, IndusInd slumps

Sensex, Nifty showed modest gains, metal stocks show resilience.

Shares of Power Grid, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, JSW Steel and Bajaj Finance gained, while IndusInd, Trent, ONGC, Titan, and Eicher Motors depreciated among Nifty 50 constituents.

Among 2,850 stocks that were traded on the National Stock Exchange, only 850 advanced. Nifty metal and FMCG indices showed resilience, while oil & gas, consumer durables and bank indices slipped.

After a flattish opening, Sensex gained 206.70 points or 0.28 per cent to 74,539.28 as at 12.35 pm, and Nifty inched up 47.45 points or 0.21 per cent to 22,599.95.

Top gainers & losers today

Shares of Power Grid led the gainers with a 3.17 per cent increase to ₹271.65. FMCG Hindustan Unilever followed with a 2.35 per cent gain to ₹2,256.25.

IT major Infosys stock rose 1.58 per cent to ₹1,712.6.

JSW Steel gained 1.34 per cent to ₹1,024.7 and Bajaj Finance rose 1.29 per cent to ₹8,512.7.

On the losing side, IndusInd Bank shares slumped 3.24 per cent to ₹906.4. The stock hit a 52-week low in early trade at ₹881.10 as RBI cuts short CEO reappointment.

Trent shares fell 2.89 per cent to ₹4,855.2. ONGC shares declined 2.13 per cent to ₹227.92.

In addition, Titan and Eicher Motors dropped 1.48 per cent 1.29 per cent, respectively.

Among the Sensex pack, shares of Sarda Energy and Mrs Bectors Food soared over 7 per cent. On the flip side were 360 One WAM, JM Financial and Triveni Turbine declining close to 7 per cent.
