ONGC sped up 2.74 per cent to lead the pack in late trading on the BSE on Wednesday. At 3.10 pm the share was trading at Rs 331.40 as against Rs 322.55 at close on Tuesday.
BHEL moved up further to hold gains of 2.45 per cent at Rs 246.90 as against Rs 241 at close yesterday.
Axis Bank held firm to notch up gains of 2.37 per cent at Rs 578.5 as against Rs 565.10 at close on Tuesday.
Coal India rode up 1.99 per cent to trade at Rs 382.4. The share ended yesterday’s session at Rs 374.95.
Bharti Airtel held steady at Rs 406 as against the overnight close at Rs 400.85. This was a gain of 1.28 per cent.
