Opto Circuits , a medical technology group, said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Eurocor GmbH, entered the global market with their Freeway coated shunt baloon catheter. Freeway has been placed in the market for arteriovenous (AV) access to help patients with end-stage renal disease, the company said in a disclosure to the exchanges. Following the first release on the launch of AV Fistula balloon, 500 units had been manufactured and international shipment against orders executed, said the company. Shares of Opto Circuits closed at ₹12.85, down 4 per cent on the NSE.
