The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday notified that foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/registered foreign portfolio investors (RFPIs) and non-resident Indians can now invest up to 100 per cent and 24 per cent, respectively of the paid-up capital of Transwarranty Finance under the portfolio investment scheme.

Currently, the company does not have any institutional presence. Sterling Biotech holds 2.20 per cent stake in the firm.
