Redington (India) has informed the exchanges that Redington Gulf FZE, a step-down subsidiary of the company has been appointed by Apple as a distributor for iPhones in UAE with immediate effect. This is a key addition to Redington Gulf's telecom distribution portfolio. The company expects this to significantly increase its offerings to customers in the smart phones category. Shares of Redington gained 2.6 per cent at ₹119.95 on the NSE.
