State Bank of Travancore’s ₹474-crore rights issue will open on Tuesday and close on March 31. The funds garnered will be used towards increasing the bank's capital base. SBT will sell over 1.18 crore shares at ₹400/share through the issue. The shares are being offered to the shareholders in the ratio of one share for every five held as on the record date of March 4. About 59,000 retail investors own 13.88 per cent stake in the SBI subsidiary.
