Tata Power shares rose 1.88 per cent to Rs 81.40 on the BSE in early trade on Tuesday.
The stock had closed at Rs 79.90 on Monday.
On the NSE, the shares were quoting at Rs 81.40 (Rs 80.00), up 1.75 per cent.
