Travel tech firm EaseMyTrip opens new franchise store in Andhra Pradesh

EaseMyTrip, one of India’s major online travel platforms, launched its 23rd franchise store in Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh on December 26, 2024, furthering its retail expansion in South India’s travel market.

The shares of Easy Trip Planners Limited were trading at ₹16.36 down by ₹0.11 or 0.67 per cent on the NSE today at 12.50 pm.

Located near the Gangamma temple on MG Street, the new outlet offers comprehensive travel services including domestic and international flight bookings, hotel accommodations, holiday packages, and bus and railway reservations. The store also provides luxury cruise bookings and visa assistance services.

The expansion is part of EaseMyTrip’s broader strategy to establish 100 retail stores by FY25, combining online convenience with personalized offline services. Co-founder Rikant Pittie highlighted the Tirupati region’s significance, citing its spiritual tourism and economic potential as key factors for this strategic location.

EaseMyTrip, listed on both NSE and BSE, has grown at a CAGR of 47 per cent during FY20-24 in profits before tax. The company provides access to over 400 airlines and 2 million hotels globally, with offices across major Indian cities and international presence in seven countries including the UAE, UK, and USA.
