Zuari Group’s open offer to acquire an additional 36.56 per cent stake in Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilisers (MCFL) will commence on Tuesday. Zuari group has retained the price of voluntary open offer at ₹91.92 a share. The offer closing date is May 6. Meanwhile, Deepak Fertilisers Petrochemicals Corporation has backed out of the race for takeover of MCFL. Deepak Fert has already sold an 18.45 per cent stake in MCFL last week.
