Buzzing stocks: Key managerial exit in HDFC Bank; Voda’s new partner; Hero MotoCorp’s new EV model; Tata Elxsi-Infineon tie up

HDFC Bank on Wednesday said that its Chief Human Resource Officer Vinay Razdan has resigned. The bank has accepted his resignation with effect from the close of business hours on June 18, 2025, HDFC Bank said in a regulatory filing. The bank did not disclose the reason for the resignation.

 Vodafone Idea has announced a partnership with Satcom firm AST SpaceMobile, a rival of Elon Musk-owned SpaceX, to deliver satellite services on smartphones directly. AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only space-based cellular broadband network accessible directly by smartphones, designed for commercial and government applications, Vodafone Idea said in a statement.

Hero MotoCorp will aunch its latest electric scooter, the VIDA VX2, on July 1 with new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model under the VIDA brand. The aim is to make electric two-wheeler ownership more affordable and accessible. Vida, the company’s electric mobility brand, includes over 3,600 fast-charging stations and more than 500 service points in over 100 cities.

DLF Ltd has sold all 1,164 luxury flats for about ₹11,000 crore within a week of launch of its new housing project in Gurugram, reflecting that demand continues to be strong for premium residential properties from end-users and investors. With pre-sales of ₹11,000 crore, DLF has achieved 50 per cent of its sale bookings target for the current financial year. In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, DLF announced that “sell out of its latest luxury offering, DLF Privana North, valued at approximately ₹11,000 crore, a historic milestone achieved within just one week”. The project is part of a 116-acre integrated township -- DLF Privana in Sectors 76 and 77, Gurugram.

With gas continuing to leak from an ONGC crude oil well in Assam for the seventh straight day, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday urged Petroleum Minister Hardeep S. Puri to direct the energy major to step up efforts to contain the blow-out. In a letter to Puri, Sarma said locals claimed that there has been “inadequate urgency and seriousness in ONGC’s response” while trying to contain the leak.

Tata Elxsi, a leading design and technology services provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Infineon Technologies, a leader in semiconductor solutions, to jointly develop application-ready electric vehicle (EV) solutions tailored to the Indian market. The partnership focuses on developing ready-to-deploy EV systems built on Infineon technologies for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles, with future pathways to address eVTOL, energy, and off-highway sectors.

Allcargo Gati has joined the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) Network to help buyers and sellers on the platform leverage its logistics services. This strategic integration with the Central Government-backed initiative enhances the accessibility of reliable and tech-enabled logistics solutions for businesses of all sizes, helping them streamline deliveries, optimise supply chains, and boost operational efficiency, Allcargo Gati said.

The Board of Directors of ESAF Small Finance Bank has approved a proposal for sale of NPAs and written-off loans to Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC): Pool size of ₹ 735.18 crore (₹ 362.43 Crore NPA and ₹ 372.75 Crore Technically written-off); and the bank carries an overall provision of 90.15 % on the above pool. The Board of Directors has authorised the Asset Sale Committee of Executives to complete the procedural requirement with respect to the sale of NPA and Technically written-off loans to ARC.

Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd, Dilip Buildcon and Shyam Metalics and Energy are among the eight companies that have submitted bids for two coal blocks out of six put on sale. A total of 14 bids were received from these eight companies for the two blocks.

Jio Financial Services Ltd (JFSL) on Wednesday said it has acquired the entire 17.8 per cent stake of State Bank of India in Jio Payments Bank Ltd for a consideration of ₹104.54 crore. With the stake buy, Jio Payments Bank becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of JFSL. The company acquired 7,90,80,000 equity shares of Jio Payments Bank from SBI for an aggregate consideration of ₹104.54 crore pursuant to the approval received from Reserve Bank of India on June 4, JFSL said in a regulatory filing.

Pasupati Acrylon has resumed manufacturing operations at its Thakurdwar plant in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, the company had temporarily shut down operations due to a fire incident in the cooling tower at the plant. The fire was controlled within minimal timeframe, however operations at the company’s plant had been temporary disrupted. 

Kranti Industries has received a new part development order from Bonfiglioli Transmissions, Chennai for manufacture and supply of housing for heavy industrial machines. In a disclosure, the company said that this product will be a new addition to its existing product portfolio, signifying a strategic expansion into a critical industrial component segment. Upon successful development and subsequent customer approval, the product is expected to contribute an annual business potential of around ₹14.65 crore. The order samples are to be submitted by July 2025.

In a separate notification, the company said it has received a Purchase Order for tooling cost from CNH Industrial (India). The order pertains to the development and supply of a Hub Extractor Fan, a new variant under its Agri Implements Business segment. This product is expected to enhance its agricultural product portfolio and aligns with its strategy of diversifying offerings to key customers in the agri-equipment sector. Subject to successful development and approval by the customer, this new product carries an annual business potential of approximately ₹1.57 crore, it said.
