Bajaj Allianz rapped for delay in settling claims

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority has warned Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd for violating norms related to claim settlement.

Referring to a customer’s complaint on a motor-insurance claim, the regulator asked the general insurer “to put systems in place to the effect that all claim papers/documents are properly docketed.”
